Holly Hudson
Co-Founder / Art Director / 3D & Environment Artist

I am a creative leader and artist, with a focus on shaping the artistic direction of games.

I graduated with a master’s in Games Design and Development from The National Film and Television School, which helped me in my journey to cultivate a versatile skill set, with specialisms in environment art, 3D modeling, and visual stylisation.

As co-founder of Studio Morgan, an indie games studio I established with Harvey Hayman, I am deeply involved in both the creative and production aspects of game development. Our debut title, Morgan: Metal Detective, will launch commercially later this year, with my contributions spanning art direction, level design, 3D art, and UI design. It’s been an incredibly rewarding project that’s allowed me sharpen my ability in leading the overall artistic vision of projects, balancing creativity with cohesive design principles.

The masters at NFTS was a two-year programme, and allowed me to explore the entire game development pipeline as a solo indie designer, enhancing my technical and creative skills across multiple disciplines. Now, I am focused on environment and 3D art, where my passion lies in pushing the boundaries of stylisation and creating new visual aesthetics.

In addition to my work at Studio Morgan, I freelance as an environment and 3D artist, and art director. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with companies such as VaynerMedia, World Away Games, Thought Den, Way Studio XR, Beyond Tomorrow Studios and Trickshot.

I’m always on the lookout for new projects that challenge me creatively and let me bring exciting, visually stunning experiences to life!
